Ilobasco mud festival
Together with the Mayor's Office of Ilobasco and local actors, they carry out the IX Mud Festival in this municipality.
The objective of this activity is to give a boost to the exhibition and commercialization of the artisan products produced in the municipality of Ilobasco, in addition to promoting economic development in other sectors such as gastronomy, agribusiness, among others.
The festival has the participation of 60 business people from Ilobasco and other municipalities, who have been supported by CONAMYPE through the offices of the area and its different programs.
These activities are part of the territorial approach of the Cuscatlán Plan, which seeks to promote productive initiatives in municipalities, regions and micro-regions, taking tourism development as one of the fundamental elements.
It is precisely that the local economic development strategy "One People One Product Movement" is part of this approach, since it promotes the use of local and identity resources, allowing greater economic dynamism in the localities, as is the case of Ilobasco and some surrounding municipalities.
